I have worked as a writer, editor, teacher and advocate for more than 25 years. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, with my wife and two sons and have recently completed my debut novel, FINDING CARMEN. Woo hoo!!
I currently work as an English teacher at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, where I am in my fourth year teaching sophomores and juniors.
Before starting at Judge in 2017, I was the executive director of HEAL Utah, a local environmental nonprofit. I am a native of upstate New York and have lived and worked in Guatemala, New Orleans, New York City and Albany, N.Y. I now live in Salt Lake with my wife, Julie Stewart, a Westminster College professor, and two sons.
